The BBC Bus weighs 9 tonnes, is 3m wide, 4m high and 11m long. It has a 17 m swing. There are 5 PCs and an Apple Mac on board the BBC Bus, as well as a digital camera, a scanner, 2 printers, a digital camcorder and a fantastic 42 " plasma screen. The front of the bus is a fully kitted out broadcasting studio. There is ramp access onto the bus, a special keyboard available for people with visual impairments and screen reading equipment. |
