Masterminded by Colonel White (so-called because all colours of the spectrum mix in white), Spectrum also has many female fighter-pilots - the Angels. However, their finest agent is Captain Scarlet himself.

After being taken over by the Mysterons, Captain Scarlet regained his humanity after a fall from the London Car-Vu. He is now Spectrum's most valuable asset, as he kept the Mysteron ability of retro-metabolism - he is now virtually indestructible. He's not all hero, though - in one episode he is thrown out of Spectrum for gambling!

Spectrum controls a magnificent array of advanced technology vehicles, including the Angel Interceptor fighter jets; the bullet proof Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle; gas powered Spectrum Saloon Cars and Magnacopters.
