Lucy is a published, writer, poet and playwright and was born and orphaned in Hong Kong, then exported to the UK as a transracial adoptee.
She trained at the Rose Bruford College of Speech & Drama. Her first role was the lead in the ground-breaking British film Ping Pong. She has since gone on to appear on stage, film and TV on shows including Call The Midwife, Casualty and EastEnders. She advocates for greater representation of British East/Southeast Asians on stage, screen and TV is a founding member of the organisation BEATS, the only one if its kind in the UK.
