Chika Okoro is a speaker, women of colour champion, and self-love advocate.
Passionate about race and gender issues, she is excited to help women of colour develop their inner confidence and combat the negative messages that society often throws at them. Chika earned her undergraduate degree at Harvard University where she wrote her honors thesis on Black identity in America. She earned her master's degree at Stanford University where she gave her TEDx talk “Confessions of a D Girl: Colorism and Global Standards of Beauty” confronting the damaging effects that colourism has on women and girls. That talk has been viewed over 1 million times all over the world. Chika has since been featured on BET, The Stoop podcast, and Red Table Talk where she tackles topics such as self-love, self-worth, and imposter syndrome and shares how others can also conquer these obstacles in their lives.
