Chandana Hiran, is a campaigner, feminist and a Change-Maker.
She recently started a campaign called #AllShadesAreLovely (www.change.org/AllShadesAreLovely) which was for Fair & Lovely to be more inclusive in their narrative and to stop demeaning dark skin. The petition has garnered over 33,000 signatures in less than a month. Unilever also decided to drop the term 'fair' from the name 'Fair & Lovely' and said that it would be more inclusive in its narrative. Chandana has since been featured on BBC World News and ABC News (Australia).
