BBC Coventry & Warwickshire was once again proud to be the official media partner for Team GB at the tournament in Innsbruck, which ran from Sunday, 13 April until Saturday, 19 April.

Headed by the Cassidy Coventry Blaze coach Paul Thompson, the British side competed against five other nations in Group A of Division 1 – Poland, Kazakhstan, Netherlands, Korea and the hosts Austria.

Blaze boasted four of the main British squad that played at the TWK Arena – captain Jonathan Weaver, James Pease, Russell Cowley and Tom Watkins. Steve Fone was also involved as back-up netminder.
