If you're a fan of 2-Tone, there's no better place to be than BBC Coventry & Warwickshire from 30 January to 17 February as we celebrate the ska revival with days of special programmes and events. Throughout the event, you will be able to hear memories of 2-Tone from the fans and followers on BBC Coventry & Warwickshire, sprinkled throughout our programmes. Also running through the duration of the event, called Too Much, Too Young, you can bring those memories to life by visiting an exhibition of images by photographer Toni Tye, who followed the bands and the fans while the film Dance Craze was being produced, in our Open Centre. The main events on air included a walk on the 2-Tone Trail with Coventry music expert Pete Chambers and presenter Anita Miah, which happened on Monday, 30 January. Pete showed Anita some of the main landmarks from the 2-Tone movement as featured in his 2-Tone Trail book, which brings the Coventry of the late 1970s back to life. | | Charley Anderson of The Selecter |
