BBC Comedy Festival 2026

The BBC Comedy Festival 2026 will take place in Liverpool on 13 -15 May with a series of talks, panel discussions, screenings, short film nights, live comedy shows and networking events for industry professionals and beyond. Whether you’re an established comedy producer or creator or new to the business, this is a chance to meet your peers and be inspired by all things comedy.

In previous years the festival has been held in Belfast, Glasgow, Cardiff and Newcastle with talks and panel sessions from comedy greats including Jesse Armstrong, Stefani Robinson, Sharon Horgan, Steve Coogan and Guz Khan.
