Griffin parents Peter and Lois, teenagers Meg and Chris, baby Stewie and dog Brian are a typical American family. Well, apart from the fact that the dog talks and the baby is an evil genius.

They live in a the town of Quahog, Rhode Island next door to sex-obsessed Glen Quagmire, hen-pecked Cleveland Brown and disabled cop Joe Swanson.
