Queuing 排队

People queuing for a bus in London
Queuing is just part of daily life.

 Is queuing a British tradition?

Sally, Henan

Queuing is certainly something that is often associated with the British.

As a lot of Chinese visitors observed, people in Britain tend to naturally form a queue whenever they have to wait for something. Queue-jumping is frowned upon. But where does the tradition of queuing come from? How would people react to queue-jumpers?

Listen to Lily and Oliver as they talk to some British people to find the answers to these questions.
