Be inspired and build with GoGo blocks
If your little one is a budding architect, check out these easy block-building ideas and inspiration from BeddyByes - some assembly required!
What does your child want to build today?
MeMo and BaBa travel around Planet BeddyByes with their own custom vehicles made entirely out of building blocks! If you and your child are looking for inspiration, learn how to assemble BeddyBye's GoGo blocks using any age-appropriate blocks you have at home.
Building together helps develop your child's problem-solving and concentration skills. As they balance blocks on or next to each other, they improve their fine and gross motor skills, as well as hand-to-eye coordination. GoGo Plane
The classic, the GoGo plane is MeMo and BaBa's most often used vehicle. Which GoGo blocks build is your child's favourite?
How to build GoGo Plane
Use any age-appropriate blocks you have at home and look at the animation below for inspiration. Try using square blocks instead cylinders on the bottom row, and experiment with new shapes. Once you've made your own perfectly balanced plane, soar up into the clouds and begin your adventure. If the structure collapses, it's a great opportunity to teach your child about trying again.
GoGo Rocket
The GoGo Rocket is used for a dramatic lift-off. Let's go-go! Can your little one put the final block on the top?
How to build GoGo Rocket
GoGo Rocket has a level base, so this might be a better option for very young children. Remember to work together with your child and take the lead from them as they learn about shapes and textures.
GoGo Helicopter
MeMo and BaBa take off from the Play Tree, but they never forget their seatbelts!
How to build GoGo Helicopter
A real test of patience and balance! We reccommend removing the bottom block. The propellors might be a bit tricky, but you can show your child the benefit of slow and careful hand movements. And if all else fails, knocking blocks over is fun, too!
GoGo Balloon
On the way to the Lullaby Lake, MeMo and BaBa show the Brushies their teeth for a clean and shine. Time to let your imagination soar... hold a balloon above your creation, or for extra fun forgoe the bricks and hold a ball above your head and slowly pretend to fly up into the air.
GoGo Boat
The GoGo blocks reassemble into a boat to carry MeMo and BaBa across the Lullaby Lake. You could use soft toys to sit or lie in the boat as it sails away.
GoGo Choo
Finally, the clickity-clack of the GoGo Choo brings the cuddly friends to Gramma Leeba for a bedtime story. This is a really fun imaginative build. Look at the image and see if you can recreate the front of the train and the carriage, remove the wheels and imagine the train is riding along a track. Can you and your child make the clickity-clack sound too?
