When American G.I.s came to Britain
During the war, some food and clothing was so hard to come by that it was rationed. And some stuff wasn't available at all! So when America joined our side in the war and their soldiers started arriving in Britain in 1942, they brought with them a lot of things that hadn't been seen for years!
