Pan-fried gyoza recipe
Join Chef Jeremy Pang as he shows past Blue Peter presenter Lindsey how to make pan-fried pork gyoza. How tasty do they look?!
- 1 pack round gyoza wrappers
- 1 spring onion
- A thumbnail sized piece of ginger
- 1 clove of garlic
- 2 large leaves of green or white cabbage
- 1 carrot, peeled
- 200g pork mince
- 1-2 teaspoons sesame oil
- a pinch of salt
- 1-2 tablespoons light soy sauce
- ¼ teaspoon sugar

What is a pan-fried gyoza?
Gyoza is actually the Japanese word for the Chinese “dumpling”. This type of dumpling is filled with meat and vegetables and pan-fried for a crisp and golden outer, then they are steamed for a soft and tender filling.
