This is Tyler and this is my take on what happened in the DG this week.

HallowSistersFan comment reads You are so brave facing your fears Tyler, I know it is hard (I went through a death of a family member a few months ago too) but having feelings is what makes us human, and not having of met him properly is worse as you know you can never get all the answers you want. Everyone in some ways are like their family but we all have different paths we can choose to take, and only YOU are in charge of how your life goes. Just remember you have your mum and stepdad, May-Li, Scott, all your friends and of course Jody. I know your life will turn out just fine because you are always surrounded by love. You\u2019re right \u2013 it\u2019s so easy to get caught up in the past and what other people\u2019s decisions now mean for me, rather than focusing on the future and the decisions that I can make to decide what happens. I\u2019ll try to do this more from now on.

I'm like my friend Gracie because we both like sleepovers where we do nails, hair, makeup, games consoles, snacks, buffet for tea, other games on mobile devices and we both also LOVE Almost Never. My friend Ruby likes the Amelia Gething Complex too and the same games as me. I'm like my mum because I'm good at grammar and I like reading, but not the same books. I guess that\u2019s one of the good things about living at The DG \u2013 there\u2019s such a mix of people that there\u2019s always someone who\u2019ll be interested in something somebody else is doing. You find yourself having the best time with someone you\u2019d never have imagined.
musicalpanda comment reads Hi Tyler, I am like my family because most of my family wear glasses and so do I. Also, I play the piano like my cousins and I look quite a lot like my dad. You shouldn't be too harsh on your dad he may have been through a tough time and tried to find you but didn't know were you were.Hopefully you and you mates at the DG could carry on inspiring kids in care and maybe one day they will be as brave as you! I\u2019m really grateful that you find us inspiring, it\u2019s definitely a struggle at times but hearing that helps a lot, as well as all of the amazing times.

It is kind of strange because I play football and I layer up and everyone thinks I won't be able to run but I actually can. Also I get cold in summer as well as my grandad. The most layers that I have ever worn is about 8,9 or 10 in the winter. Tylers reply reads That\u2019s a lot of layers, Purplemonster234! I bet you and your granddad are made up in summer when you\u2019re nice and cool and some of us are far too hot.

That must have been a very tough thing to go through. I didn\u2019t realise how tough losing someone can be until it happened to me. It sounds like you\u2019ve taken on some really great things from your dad and the rest of your family. I\u2019ll try to be as positive as you are and see the good in myself a bit more.

People say I look a lot like my mum without my glasses but like my dad with my glasses, me and my mum are similar because we both can be sarcastic at times, me and my dad are similar because we can both be funny and positive at times. It sounds like you\u2019ve fallen from several trees too and made your own unique apple, like me. You\u2019re probably right about talking to people. I worry they won\u2019t understand, but I bet a lot of people are feeling the same way.
