Grandma Hobbie has finally given Holly her recipe for choco-chip banana muffins - and they just happen to be Amy's favourite! Why not try your hand at making a batch?

- 3 very ripe bananas
- 125ml melted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 250g self-raising flour
- 100g soft light brown sugar
- 1tsp baking powder
- 100g chocolate chips
- 12x muffin cases
- Muffin baking tin
Method
Remember – grown ups like you to tell them if you’re cooking with hot or sharp things!
Makes: 12 muffins
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/gas mark 6/400°F and line a 12-bun muffin tin with muffin papers.
2. Mash the bananas and set aside for a moment.
3. Combine melted butter and eggs and beat together.
4. Put flour, sugar, baking powder into large bowl and mix in egg-and-butter mixture, followed by mashed bananas.
5. Fold mixture together, then fold in chocolate chips.
6. Divide into 12 muffin cases and bake in oven for 15-20 minutes. The muffins are ready when a toothpick stuck in the centre of each muffin comes out clean.
7. Leave muffins to cool before eating.
