5 types of friends everyone meets in school

School is an amazing place to meet friends, and every school is different. But without a doubt, every school has at least one of these people, and you're probably friends with them...

This friend seems totally cool the rest of the time, but has the bad habit of never bringing a pen or pencil to school! They always beg to borrow one of yours, which you think is fine as long as you get it back... until you see the pen go up (in slow motion) to their mouth. Chomp chomp chomp. You know what, pen-chewer? Keep the pen.

There's always one friend who is just amazing at every sport they touch (seriously, is an egg-and-spoon race even a sport?). They're first in every race, they blitz through every Sports Day, and everyone wants them on their team. 

You love having lunch with this friend, but you dread the moment when they open their lunch bags because you just know even a skunk would struggle from a whiff of their tuna and egg mayo sandwiches. Nose plugs at the ready!

They doodle, chat, and daydream all the way through class, but as soon as the teacher asks them a question, they're always spot on the with answer. How do they do that?

This type of person is also closely linked to the 'never remember to do their homework until five minutes before school but still manage to get top marks' kid. Grrrr!

They know all the best games to play at break and they come up with really fun ideas for what to do after school, so they naturally become the ringleader. This is all fine until they start insisting on being player one at your house, and they decide which member of Little Mix you get to be. Chill out, ringleader, you can't be Jade every time.
