Doggy Doughnuts and Peanut Butter Bites

Spoil the pup in your life with these healthy, easy to make and tasty dog treats PLUS bonus Henry fun for lols!

You will need
  • 200g blueberries
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 225ml water
  • 450g rolled oats
  • Greek yoghurt
  • 240g peanut butter (make sure you use all-natural peanut butter and make sure it doesn't have xylitol in it, as this is toxic to dogs)
  • 1 teaspoon unprocessed coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Doggy Doughnut

  • Heat the oven to 190C.

  • Put the peeled banana, blueberries (make sure you wash them first) and water into a blender and blend until smooth. Put your oats in a mixing bowl, add the fruity mixture and stir.

  • Once you have given it a good mix, roll the mixture into balls.

TOP TIP - wet your hands slightly with water to stop the mixture sticking.

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 mins.

  • Leave the treats to cool a little, so that they're just warm to touch (If unsure ask a grown-up to help you out with this part) and when they are slightly warm, spoon out the middle to create a hole - this is what will give the doughnut shape. (Save this part to make some mini treats balls).

  • To finish them off, top with Greek yoghurt and blueberries. And there you have it - Doggy Doughnuts!

PAWfect Peanut Butter Bites

  • First, mix the peanut butter and cinnamon together until smooth.

  • Next, add the coconut oil and mix well. You want the mixture to be pourable.

  • Spoon the mixture into moulds.

  • Place into the freezer overnight.

  • Once they are frozen remove from the moulds and place into an air-tight container.

  • Now all you need is a good boy to feed them too.
