Entry to Pudsey's daytime party is by TICKET ONLY, but, if you haven't managed to get through on the telephone lines, you can still turn up at the Imperial War Museum Duxford on Friday. The ticket lines are now closed, but tickets for the daytime event ONLY will be available on the gate on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability. What's happening on the big day?The Imperial War Museum Duxford will be open from 10am until 4pm* on Friday 17th November and there'll be a fly-past to launch the day's activities, plus plenty of entertainment, fun and frolics for you to enjoy right across the museum site.  | | AirSpace - it'll take your breath away! |
Make sure you don’t miss the tank-pulling race where dozens of men in uniform will be battling it out on the runway! Who’s stronger – firemen, policemen or soldiers? Cheer on your county team – they’re coming in from Northamptonshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire. Watch as we attempt to break the record for making the biggest ever human Concorde on the airfield and feel that need for speed as we pit a Spitfire V against a Lotus Exige S sports car. It's guaranteed to be a high-speed, octane-fuelled adrenaline rush! Or why not take a leisurely tour around the magnificent AirSpace hangar and find out how they managed to suspend all of those aircraft from the ceiling? It's visually stunning, and if that inspires you, you can take in some of the other tours, talks and exhibitions in the Land Warfare Hall. Swing your pants with PudseyIt's the perfect excuse to dress up in your 1940s glad-rags... from 11am until 3pm we'll be holding a massive swing dance in the American Air Museum on the IWM Duxford site. Jive to the live sounds of Five Star Swing in a unique setting beneath a canopy of wings. Look mum, I'm on the telly!There will be live TV and radio broadcasts throughout the day so you may well spot a few well-known faces and you might even find yourself on television!
