Getting there

By bus:
The number 8 bus runs from Bristol Temple Meads through the City centre up Park Street to Clifton. The bridge is on the route to the A369 which takes you to the M5 J19.

By car: There is limited on street parking in the area. Please park legally as the Council operate a tow-away scheme that is rigorously enforced 24/7.
Walk conditions The walk is a mixture of paths containing gentle gradients and some steps. Some of these are in poor condition. Our map indicates the degree of accessibility for pushchairs, prams or wheelchairs. Where possible alternative routes are given.
Please take care around the cliff face as some of the fencing is in poor condition and there is a sheer drop.

BBC Radio Bristol: Listen to audio after Ben Prater walked the route on his weekend breakfast programme.
