| | Doctor Who today:
First, a little history. Apart from time-travelling to UK Gold, video and DVD, Doctor Who has departed from our TV screens.
Gone, but not forgotten.
Should you seek out the Doctor, youll find him in the Big Finish audio adventures, and in the comic strip thats been running in the official Doctor Who Magazine (DWM) since 1979.

Paul McGanns likeness graces the DWM comic strip, and he has so far recorded two seasons of audio adventures for Big Finish.
The eighth Doctor is a passionate adventurer, in appearance somewhat like a romantic poet, a dashing, Byronic figure with a touch of the Hellfire Club about him.
