Thousands of people flock every year to Haworth for a 1940s weekend organised by the Haworth Traders Association. If you want to take a trip back in time, then this is the place!

Although the majority of visitors to Haworth are in modern civvies, unwitting visitors to the village are always somewhat surprised to find GIs, Tommies.

WAAFs, landgirls and ARP (Air Raid Prevention) wardens dance together in the streets to the strains of Glen Miller..

At recent 1940s weekends, events have included a vintage vehicle parade, an evening ball, flypasts by a Dakota and a German spotter plane, as well as street events.
