WAAFs, landgirls and ARP (Air Raid Prevention) wardens dance together in the streets to the strains of Glen Miller.. At recent 1940s weekends, events have included a vintage vehicle parade, an evening ball, flypasts by a Dakota and a German spotter plane, as well as street events.
