Peter from sutton
Noble got out at the right time. Bulls have peaked and will struggle for the next two or three years. Hope wigan make the top 6 and face the Bulls at Odsal!! wold make an interesting match
Russ, Bradford
Diplomacy is not my strong point so im just going to speak my mind. Thanks nobby for the last 5 years but unlike the rest i with you no good will at wigan. League one here you come, ops no more attention from oz after that is there!!! I'll stick my neck out here and say i truely think its nobby's career thats in free fall, 3-4 years and he'll be in charge of keighley cougars!!! shame i liked the guy!

brian has ditched his wonderful fans world class players ,and all because he was to big headed to accept an apology plus he was tempted by a big fat pay cheque.feel let down.
PATRICK JAMES
Brian Noble should be thanked for 5 glorious years. If he felt so strongly about his relationship with the board, why not resign at the start of the season when there was not the largest salary in Super League on offer to him then? His claim to be a man of integrity is an insult to all Bulls fans - he has walked out on the club mid-contract and mid-season. Had he left for Australia in 18 months as supposedly intended he would have been given all the best wishes of all Bulls fans. Sadly he has tainted that goodwill.
pat
To Steven James.
Wigan only dominated Rugby League when they were the only full-time professional team. Since the Super League formed, you have won very little. Given that your attendances are low and your league position is lower, how do you conclude you are a much bigger club than anyone else?
Matt, Bradford
With all the recent departures of top class players and coaches (including the departure of Brian Noble) from the Bulls over the past years. Is this the start of the Bulls long-term decline? With no new big investors and an old stadium, I just hope a way can be created to keep World Class Rugby in Bradford. P.S. Good Luck Brian.
PETER BROSCOMBE
Is Brian's departure the latest consequence of Iestyn's capture and the huge financial costs it has created? Surely Bridge at Warrington is playing just as well and if retained would have resulted in more financial muscle to compete with the top clubs. The board of directors should issue a staement concerning this and if Davies main task is to get us through the current financial mine field
Davyboy
I worry for Nobby as Wigan will not heistate to sack him if they`re not top ot the tree in 6-9 months.Where will he go then?Could be the end of his Australian dream?
gary gusieley
one word gutted bulls lose wigans gain but life must go on thank you very much brian noble for the very happy times sack the board wigan stick with brain dont just get sack another coach give brain time to sort the wigan mess out
w.tordoff
once again when something good for sport in bradford is working someone on the the board decides its time for a change , note wigan football club premiership status?
damian, wigan
for all those who say the money goes into football, then where did the 400,000 come from that wigan stumped up to pay off Millward? Noble is taking a risk with a club chairman as fickle as Mr Lindsay gets when things go badly. I just hope he gets time, as it will take time for wigan to get back!
Justin case, wibsey
i cant believe nobby has backstabbed us, its a crime against humanity!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sean
As a Hull supporter Icannot believe that a coach of Brian Nobles stature would prefer to go to Wigan.Anyone who wants to go and work for Maurice & co is need of help. My club was in need of some help a few weeks ago,but would not of dreamt of trying to poach the best English coach in the game away from the Bulls! A move I think Brian will regret, sooner rather than later!
Lucy
Good luck to Brian, hope everything works out ok for him. Good luck and congratulations to Steve Mac who I am sure will be as excellent a coach as Nobby.
richard k
i can just see jose moving from chelsea to chesterfield.not!good luck, dole queue next.
becci, barnsley
fanx nobby 4 everyfin u have dun 4 the bulls. u will b a bull 4 life unlike davies who will never be a true bull n gud look at wigan. a fink that mcNamara will do a brill job n a fink bradford will b champions agen this year
becci n julia, barnsley
even though Nobby has left he will always be more a Bull than davies will ever be. good look mcNamara
Steven James
The decision for Noble was simple. Wigan Rugby is a brand name. We are the most talked about team in world rugby, good or bad. Everyone is asking the question why would he want to join Wigan, how about asking a different question, why would't he not want to join Wigan. The most successful rugby club in the world. The history surrounding Wigan rugby is second to none. Wigan have the strongest youth development in Super League, and even though we are botton of the league we are still getting over 12,000 fans. Wigan has suffered from bad management, but the desire is there to be great once again. If Brian can make Wigan great then he will go down in history. Thats why he has left the Bulls. You may have a better team right now but Wigan is a much bigger club. These are his reason, good luck Brian, you will be successful.
Mel Leeds
It is a great day for the Rhinos. Nobby was Bradford and The Bulls was Nobby.I know how the Bulls fans are feeling. We at The Rhinos were very upset When Graham Murray departed. Look how well The Cowboys are doing in OZ.
Craig Reynolds, Bradford
First of all I would like to thank Brian Noble for bring the Bulls the best 5 years in the Bulls History.
But lets not kid your self Brian because while the Bulls will go on for more success over the next 5 years through Stevie Mac,
The only thing that you will achieve at wigan is Coaching in National 1 !
P.S. Hope you get wrapped up when you go to likes of Batley,Whitehaven and Doncaster.
Greg
Our loss, Wigans gain!!!!! Macca will be fine, he knows the game well and the players respect him. You never know perhaps Jimmy Lowes will be back as one of the coaches before too long. Lets cut the "Bull" and do out talking on the field - come September lets see who is at Old Trafford. Come on you BULLS

Good Luck Nobby
As a season ticket holder with a 200 mile round trip each week I hope the board show the same committment and hold on to our star players. The fans were devastated when we lost Jamie and Robbie and..... just look at the crowd figures for this year....do it again and see what happens. Thanks Nobby.
Mike Rennie
I can not see how Brian Noble can do much better than Ian Millward. His hands are tied this season because of salary cap restrictions! Or has Mr Lindsay, got a way around the salary cap? The days are gone when Wigan can poach allthe best players from other clubs. I hope Brian has a very good legal team to to fight for his contract when Wigan RL sack him!mark my words they will.
Liam Southwell
he has made a good decision.we have now got a younger coach n steve mcnamara and if noble does get wigan relagated he will go to the nfl, something bulls wouldn't let him do.
Peter, Las Vegas
Maybe Brian sees his ultimate challenge as succeeding where Millward failed and then finally gain his rightful place as the best coach in British RL.
David Webber
Irrespective pf differences with the board, Noble has just made the biggest mistake of his life and any player following him will do likewise. Wigan are putting all their cash into football.

mick dorset
are there any bookies out there taking bets? if so what odds will you give me that he won't see out the end of his contract at wigan?
Tom, Wigan
Wigan have been relegated before and returned to dominate RL for over a decade, so there is hope and opposing fans may be gloating a little early. But Nobby has a massive job ahead - Monday's display was abject ! I fear the drop is a real possibility unless he can bring in some decent players very quickly.
There are some good young players in the team, but not much to learn from - the big name players at the moment look overrated or just plain disinterested.
Ali
Shrewd, capable, likeable and loved by fans and players alike. The best coach of his era by far and short changed by a poor board. It s not often a new board can short change players and fans alike in such a short period of time. Good luck Nobby, not that you need it you have always succedded through true Northern (Bradford of course) grit determination and spirit.
Ted Heath
Why? If he'd waited until the end of the season, surely an NRL Job would have been much more of a professional challenge than digging the pie eaters out of a self (well, Lindsay) inflicted hole ??
Lee Eggett
Why has Brian left from world champions to bottom of the league, i can only imagine that he felt he needed a new challenge. Anyway lets get behind our new boss another Bradford legend Steve Mcnamara
Andrew Calvert
Good luck to Nobby he has done a great job for us. Unfortunatley I think he will need it. There is a lot for the Board to come clean on. Perhaps we now are starting to understand why Chris Caisley left.
Phil, Bradford
Good luck Brian, thanks for all those fantastic memories. The new chief exec has a remit, sort out the finantial mess that has come about over the last few years, he won't make many friends but it has to be done or we won't have a club anymore. Some of the big earners might have to go but there is plenty of young talent around to fill those boots.
Chels
i have been following bradford bulls for as long as i can remember. yes brian has been a great assest to us through the past years but i really do think that mcnamara will do a great job in his place. good luck with wigan brian and good luck mcnamara with bradford. it will be tough
mike boyes
what is the point of having a contract? as i understand it Noble was bound to the Bulls until the end of next season; who on earth gave permission for him to speak to Wigan in the first place.typical RL lack of management by the board.answers are needed by the club. p.s.who is gareth davies........answers on a postcard to maurice lindsay.
MIKE McCUNNIFF
Sorry to see you go Nobby, you won all there was to win with the Bulls. Good luck at Wigan if anybody can pull them out of the mire you can. There is one undying truth that can't be denied: It's easier to get a new CEO than a coach of your quality. Having said that I truly think Macca will keep up the good work started by Smithy, Matt Elliot and yourself at Odsal. Mike the Rogue-Bull, Halifax

Not bothered about Brian going - but what does concern me, is which players will join him from Bradford. Rumours suggest Fielden & Deacon!!
Les Halliburton
Biggest mistake he has ever made Wigan are going down like Widnes have .There is no money for league in Wigan it is football now ,,,
Brummie Jim
Bradford have little worries as Mcnamara is a natural successor to Noble. It would not be the Super League without Wigan. Although, to say that I'm gutted at losing Noble is an understatement as he is the best coach in the Super league.
Matthew
As a Bradford fan it saddens me that we have not only lost such a great ambassador for the club but a fantastic coach. However, i do realise that everybody has ambitions in life and the Wigan job is indeed a challenge, but im sure the most succesful coach in British rugby league can turn them around and make them a force in the league again. Thanks Brian for all your hard-work and admirable commitment and loyalty to the club
Chris Hodson
Highly disappointing that Sir Brian (Should have been knighted after the won everything we went in for year - they did it for Ferguson)has left the Bulls, still cant fully understand why he would want to leave world class players & club for a set of under achievers.
Elizabeth
Brian couldn't go any further with the Bulls, they have achieved so much with him in charge. I wish Castleford could have afforded to bring him to the Jungle, Brian always had a good word for Cas. I do not wish him well at his new club as i cannot stand Wigan, they think they are far superior to anyone else in the league and i think it would do them good to get relegated to bring them back down to earth.
Phil in Bradford
It would be interesting to see what the club have to say. Mind you by strange coincidence the Bradford Web Site has not worked for a few hours. Not hiding from anything at the club are we? I have great faith in Macca and will be eternally grateful to Nobby for the good times he gave us. Absolutely gutted that he had to leave on a sour note after all he has done for us. Annoyed that Wigan are still getting their way because of a fat cheque book though! We now deserve to hear the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth from all parties. We pay good money into the club but are kept in the dark about most things most of the time. Thought we used to be the Peoples Team.
Lynchie
I think Brian could see he had no future with the new Bulls Board. You don't expect a coach of Nobby's standing to kneel down in front of such people. The club has changed dramatically in a short term - lets hope it doesn't decline to the extent it was just prior to Super League. Players respect a good Coach - lets see who leaves to join him
Gavin, Leeds
Noble is on a hiding to nothing at Wigan, Bradford are skint, thats why Bradford want him of the payroll. Unsettlement at Bradford, along with Wigan bottom of the league, a happy day to be a Rugby League Fan.
ERIC EDINGTON
ALWAYS GOINT TO GO AFTER HE HE DIDNT DECLINE THE OFFER RIGHT AWAY
clearpepper
Its time for a change probably -Brian has done all he can at the Bulls so good luck to him -he,ll need it!
Andy
As a die-hard Wigan fan living in Scotland, I remember being this exited about Ian Millward. I just hope that Maurice Lindsay and co give Brian the time and support they are promising, unlike they did with Ian.
Michael Pountney
congratulations to Brian on your move to wigan, we wish you every success in your new venture. your contribution to the bulls success over the last few years is very much appreciated.
Ginge
Brian has been excellent for Bradford and I wish him well with his new challenge although not so well that Wigan overtake us obviously! I've no doubt that Steve McNamara will pick up the reins and run with the Bulls as indeed will we all. Not too sure about the Gareth Davies connection though - it seems to be shaking loose an awful lot of previously solid foundation....
kieron
I KNOW that noble will get us from the bottom of the league and up to the top. he will train us like he trains the GB team. we will come in the top six and maby win the final!!!!! come on the wigan
Matthew Poulton-White
As a Bulls fan im not too concerned about Nobles departure, i have great faith in McNamara doing an equally good job. Noble was a great success here and i hope he does great for Wigan. I will be taking more notice of Wigans results now, hopefully noble will turn there forunes around. It will be nice to see his return to Odsal in Wigan colours! May the best team win!
Bradford Rich
I think Noble was right to got to Wigan. There is nothing left for him at Bradford, and nothing else Bradford can take from him. Hopefully McNamara will bring some more energy and more effective planned moves to an already top of the table team
Andrew Davies
I think the acquisition of Brian noble for wigan will make them again a great team to watch. But for the Bulls they will surely descend into obscurity
Vince, super saints
hope he keeps em up otherwise winning on good fridays won't be the same !!!! I think he will have have his hands full will with Waldorf and Stadtler up in the Wigan balcony. Be interesting to see how long they'll keep their promises this time
Mark from St Helens
Rugby League needs Wigan to be strong to raise the bar for all. Its the best game in the world bar none despite what idiots like John Inverdale say. I would just like to say to Whelan and Lindsay give Brian time you are handing him a massive mess which you two have had a lot to do with. I look forward to the time when Wigan offer us Saints a meaningful match !
Mark
Great News for Wigan. Mr noble wanted a challenage. Can't thnk of bigger one at the moment in RL
PH
Well now the main man has gone i suppose it won't be long before the players start leaving the club aswell !! Lets just hope we dont end up like wigan are now !!
Matt
Brian Noble is by far the best coach in the superleague and his presence is bound to be missed. I just hope Bradford can keep the momentum up and keep delivering the goods. After all we've got the same players actually on the pitch doing the business and Steve Macca knows Bradford inside out.
jane shaw
sorry to see him go but have always liked Macca and am sure he will continue the good work.
Simon
Good luck to Steve McNamara. The club should now move quickly to dispel unnerving rumours that key players from Bradford could be moving to Wigan with Brian Noble
Geoff Roberts
Good luck Brian.
The rumours of 'differences' between Brian and certain Directors are baffling to say the least. What more can a coach do than reap the successes that Brian has managed over the years?
It was a pleaseure to watch him play and coach - let's just hope he doesn't bring Wigan back too quickly :-)
nobby magee
we wish brian all the best, but this new chief exec is already killing the club,we cant even now wear training shoes in the bar area !!!!!
ROGER, BAILDON
It's a real shame for the Bulls after Noble's been there for such a long time and taken them so far. But I wish him the best of luck and I hope other Bulls fans won't bear him any grudges because of this! Not sure though..!!!!
