The 2016 Wales Drama Award was launched at an event in BBC Cymru Wales Broadcasting House on Friday, 20 May. The afternoon saw Rhodri Talfan Davies, Director of BBC Cymru Wales, chair a panel comprising Anne Edyvean (Head of BBC Writersroom), Bethan Jones (Acting Head of Drama, BBC Wales) and Kully Thiarai (Artistic Director of National Theatre Wales).
They answered questions on all aspects of the award and discussed drama in general, from tips about how to get into the industry to what commissioners are looking for.
