Short and sweet
Last year writersroom co-produced some short films from new writers and/or directors with BBC Film Network, BBC Films and Lighthouse. We've just heard that the weird and wonderful Turning by Karni + Saul has been nominated for a BAFTA, while Wish 143 written by the brilliant Tom Bidwell has been shortlisted for an OSCAR.
