Blue Peter's Andy challenges Waldensia Primary School pupils to a sprint

Recently, Blue Peter's Andy Akinwolere journeyed to Jamaica to catch up with the fastest man on the planet, the sprinter Usain Bolt. He was on a quest to find out what it is that makes Jamaican athletes run so fast.

On Andy's quest, he went back to the schools where Usain's dreams began. With the help of World Class, Blue Peter visited Waldensia Primary School and William Knibb Memorial High School . It was here Andy discovered how the schools play a huge part in shaping Jamaica's sports stars of the future.

Waldensia and William Knibb are twinned with schools in the UK through a BBC World Class and British Council project. The project links schools in the UK with schools attended by the BBC's World Olympic Dreamsathletes.

World Class were delighted to be involved in helping Blue Peter on their quest but nevertheless we're still awaiting our Blue Peter badges! While we go on our own quest for the badges, you can watch the Blue Peter special on the iPlayer (it's only available until Saturday June 11th, so don't delay).
