A few observations from a 17 year old girl:
Never before in my life have I felt so utterly disgusted with the BBC.
The men and women who are in charge of the production of this show should be ashamed of themselves.
The same BBC, who has shows such as Underage and Pregnant, laments the degradation of today's society of binge drinking, loose morals, and unprotected, underage sex, promotes the same things on their own station.
You, the BBC, have turned hypocrisy into an art form.
The theme tune of this show is..questionable. What do you really think the moans are suggesting? Let's be responsible here.
You know exactly what you are doing. By airing shows like these, you are both promoting and endorsing this behaviour, and by aiming this programme and teenagers who are easily influenced, you are - figuratively speaking - handing over the next generation into the hands of the devil.
What horrifies me the most, is that you do not even seem to care.
The whole stripper thing, was that really necessary? The song you chose to play in the background was frankly lewd and offensive.
Perhaps you are trying to appeal to an English sense of humour that I don't possess, I don't even know...
I know you probably won't post this because although we claim to be living in democracy with freedom of speech, there are rarely time for public criticisms. Ironic isn't it?
If it's not too much trouble, I would like to complain to whoever is in charge of this programme.
    I am sickened. Completely sickened.

    ^^^ @folpol1

I agree with you on the theme tune... it's really awkward.

BUT thats all i agree with you on... you obv haven't watched skins right? This is subtle against skins.

  • Comment number 18.

I think he's still in love with michaela hope them two get back together. x

  • Comment number 19.

Loving the episodes can't wait for the next one! :)

  • Comment number 20.

@ Folpol1 - Oh dear!! U obviously havent watched much TV if you think this is offensive and 'handing over the next generation into the hands of the devil.'
The BBC are highlighting things that actually do happen in the real world to make people aware of them.
If you dont like it then simply DONT WATCH IT!!
I personally think its great as i used to watch these characters in Waterloo road!

Its great to see the original Waterloo crew back together again. I'm really enjoying this show. Does anyone know if the BBC has any plans to make this a proper show that last for longer that last for 12 minutes?

  • Comment number 24.

really love this! agreed ^ the shows should be an hour long! :D

  • Comment number 25.

Folpol1 How come it took to episode 3 for you to get soooo worked up????

  • Comment number 26.

Loving the show btw. This was the best one so far. Just wish they were longer.

  • Comment number 27.

@Folpol1 all i can say is... WOW! Some people take life too seriously and look into things too deeply. TBH this show is only reflecting the reality of goes in many young peoples lives across the country. They dont need a program to influence them they just need to live, kids learn more from the bad examples of their parents more than anything else.

  • Comment number 28.

you can tell Bolton still loves michaela

  • Comment number 29.

Cant watch it. am a bit fed up keep trying have not even been able to watch previous episodes either.

  • Comment number 30.

    They're not 17 anymore.

They did A Levels didn't they because they were at Sixth Formers in Waterloo Road, which makes them 18-19 now.

  • Comment number 31.

ur not the only one i hope they end up bk together that danielle is doing my head in

  • Comment number 32.

I've only just watched the new episodes online and loved them. But in response to Folpol1 I like the fact that you generated so much discussion based on your comment, it's good that people are challenged. I myself can understand your point of view, but does that mean the show is endorsing immoral behaviour? From my limited experience (as a 23 yr old) people will behave how they want to behave and have done for thousands of years; history tells us that. Long before the invention of tv people have behaved badly and one show cannot be blamed for this. Voice your comment of course, but be aware that the only person to blame for their actions is themselves (not tv/video games/parental influences/life in general/etc.) and live in the comfort that they will have to live with the consequences. Yes the choices that people make in life are not ideal, but (yes God does come into this) God gave us choice so that whatever life we lead, even if others don't agree, he still has a plan and like in the case of Moses even the "wrong" choices can still mean positive results. I apologise to anyone who hates the use of religion in an argument but at the end of the day criticising someone for using religion as an argument does not (necessarily) mean their argument can be disregarded.
