The Joy Formidable sign American deal

North Wales trio The Joy Formidable have signed a deal with American boutique label Black Bell Records, founded by The Passion Pit.
Speaking to the Western Mail, Passion Pit's Ayad Al Adhamy said, "The Joy Formidable grabbed my attention when I first heard the EP. The loud guitars, epic drums and dense textures with lush pop vocals and melodies just stood out from everything else I was listening to. Since then I've been an addict, and so has everyone I have shown this band to."
Writing on their Myspace blog "Black Bell Records is the new label of our friend Ayad from Passion Pit and we are delighted that they are involved in our first Stateside release."
