Top Welsh comedian Rhod Gilbert is to be let loose on the eardrums of BBC Radio 2 listeners with new comedy show Rhod Gilbert's Bulging Barrel of Laughs.

The hour-long show will begin recording next week in front of a live audience, and will feature fellow comedians Sarah Millican, Lloyd Langford and Greg Davies.

The show will also feature live music from bands such as Athlete, The Divine Comedy and Scouting For Girls. Plus there'll be a guest stand-up comedian on each show from the likes of Mark Watson, Jon Richardson and Russell Kane.
