The One Show Team|16:33 UK time, Friday, 18 December 2009

Adrian and Christine were joined by Peter Kay for another one-hour One Show special!

At Bolton's biggest bingo hall, some of Peter's fans sent in their questions for the comedian.

Christmas can be expensive. In Manchester, Jay Rayner showed us that great food needn't cost a fortune.

In the final instalment of our 2020 Vision series, Ortis Deley looked ahead to the gadgets of the future.

In Basingstoke, Dom Littlewood met viewers who were being charged as if they had an old imperial gas meter, even though their gas consumption was being measured by a metric one.

Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol is well known. However, as John Sergeant told us, Dickens did write other Christmas novels.

Don't forget! Bernard Cribbins will read one lucky viewer's Christmas story on the show on Wednesday 23rd December!

Christine Walkden found out why we rely mostly on the French, Spanish and Italians to provide us with chestnuts.

The Tellycopter was summoned to spread festive cheer to the people of Upminster.

Last year's winner Tom Chambers took us behind the scenes of Strictly Come Dancing.

See our Rav Wilding and Phil Tufnell in action earlier in the competition...

And, in the final part of Winter Watch, Mike Dilger was back in Darley Dale, Derbyshire.

Mike was looking for robins in his film. One Show blogger Fleetmariner recently sent in a video of him feeding robins in his garden. Watch it here:

Have a great weekend, we'll see you on Monday!
