The poppies are to remember the dead of many religions who lost their lives in the fight for the freedom of all of us, of all religions. I am one of the many still living who know this from personal experience.
The media should have resisted the temptation to drag them into the present infighting by religious nutcases.
Unfortunately, one has to accept that there are jobs to justify and papers to sell.
