Friday 28th November is ‘Wear your old band t-shirt to work' day.
Following the rip-roaring success of Loxfest, we’re collaborating once again with BBC Radio 6 Music for #6MusicTShirtDay.
Some of our Archers actors have been sporting their favourite band t-shirts as they came to work in the recording studio this week.
I caught up with Barry Farrimond (Ed Grundy), Emerald O’Hanrahan (Emma Grundy), Daisy Badger (Pip Archer), Angus Imrie (Josh Archer), Lucy Morris (Phoebe Aldridge) and Tom Gibbons (Johnny Phillips)
Lucy Morris (Phoebe) on her Take That t-shirt: "My mum has always doted on Robbie Williams and therefore Take That, so I grew up listening to their music from the years before and when they reunited for a tour. I was taken twice to see the amazing spectacle that was Take That (when they were all in the group!)"
Daisy Badger (Pip) on what her t-shirt means to her: "The Preatures are a new band to me. My brother was working in Chicago last month and he came back having been to see them live. He brought back some souvenirs. My theory is that he'd actually forgotten about me and thought he'd chuck me a random t-shirt. Anyway, regardless, The Preatures have been on around the house ever since. Perhaps too much..."

BBC Radio 6 Music were so keen for The Archers to be involved, they even created a special drama of their own to mark the occasion. Will poor Emma be reunited with her favourite t-shirt? Have a listen to the clip:

Archers super-fan Steve Lamacq has been inviting listeners to design their own t-shirts.
How about suggesting your own band ideas for your best loved (or most loathed) characters? Last year we received many excellent suggestions ('Ed & Will - The Clash' was my personal favourite)
Pop your suggestions in the comments box and perhaps we can even turn one or two of our favourites into a design...
