Tim Bentinck (David Archer), Buffy Davis (Jolene Archer) and Lucy Morris (Phoebe Aldridge) joined Steve Lamacq on BBC Radio 6Music to review a selection of newly released music.

Listen to their discussion

As well asking for their opinions on the tunes, Steve gleaned some interesting information about his three guests who are each behind a familiar Archers voice.

1) Phoebe, David and Jolene have never all been in a scene together (Script Writers, a challenge has been set!)

2) Lucy’s acting career started at the RSC when she was 7 years old

3) Tim aka David has voiced “Mind The Gap” on the Piccadilly line of the London Underground

4) Buffy speaks differently to Jolene, her Canadian accent is the result of growing up in Vancouver

5) While Phoebe studies for her degree, Lucy is also at university reading Creative Writing and Film

6) The first voice you hear in JK Rowling’s film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is Tim.

7) Buffy’s father was a rope-maker. The family moved to the UK when Buffy was 16 years old

Find out what happened when Andrew Wincott, Perdita Avery and Lucy Morris (Adam Macy, Kate Madikane and Phoebe Aldridge) joined Steve last year for a Roundtable.

The inaugural Archers Roundtable on BBC 6Music featured Joanna Van Kampen, Barry Farrimond and James Cartwright (Fallon Rogers, Ed Grundy and Harrison Burns).
