We reported last month that our character Iftikar Shah had been nominated for an award. Well, he's only gone and won it!
The actor Pal Aron has been named as a celebrity champion by the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom. The award was inpsired by the storyline in which Ifty used imaginative techniques and settings to help Freddie Pargetter with maths.

Accepting the award, Pal said “I'm thrilled to receive the LOTC award. It was a joy to collaborate with director Kim Greengrass on Tim Stimpson's script and I'm glad that the storyline has been recognised in this way.”
