A few weeks ago a listener to Kermode & Mayo's Film Review on 5 live wrote to them saying that they thought the programme was "like The Archers... but with movies".

Listeners suggest made-up film titles inspired by The Archers.

This prompted some very funny suggestions on their Facebook page of made-up film titles with a vague Archers theme (our Facebook fans got in on the act too). My personal favourites were Any Given Grundy and Ambridge Too Far.

While Simon Mayo is not an Archers fan (yet?) Mark Kermode revealed that he's not only a listener but also used to own a couple of chickens named Clarrie and Shula.

Mark has kindly sent us a photo of said poultry (Shula and Clarrie are the hens at the top). This inevitably got us thinking... have any other listeners named a pet after an Ambridge resident? If so, we'd love to hear from you.

Kermode & Mayo's Film Review is on BBC Radio 5 live every Friday at 2pm. It's also available as a podcast.
