"Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Culvert Blocker." The Archers Listener Discussions to 24 May 2015.
Radio 4
Bartleby was in his finery, the wedding bells of St Stephen’s were ringing and everyone was getting dressed and ready for the big event...

Not least the bride herself...
And thankfully, in spite of our worries and a turn round the churchyard with her ex, it all went off without a hitch...
I am so pleased Will lived up to my expectations and even made a point of saying how happy he is with Nic - good man! [Jean Bell on Facebook]
I loved that episode. I always found Will's continued bitterness toward Ed such a slap in the face for Nic. I mean really, I never understood why Will didn't think that that bad situation with Emma brought him to this happy situation i.e Nic and the kids. [Paula Hubbard on Facebook]
But some of you were feeling somewhat more cynical...
Can't believe it all went so well, with brothers reconciled. Can only assume something awful will happen on the Tiverton bypass. [Geraldine Anne Legard on Facebook]
And while the remains of the dressed salmon were being stuffed into Joe's pockets, actors Barry Farrimond [Ed] and Emerald O'Hanrahan [Emma] joined us on Facebook for a question & answer session...

Where we learned, amongst other things that:
1. To record the wedding scenes, Emerald wore a swishy net underskirt, previously worn by Kirsty. Glad this wedding had a happier outcome...
2. Emerald and Barry swapped real wedding rings, one of which was borrowed from the Director [Editor Sean O'Connor].
3. They both cried when they read the scripts and Emerald cried in studio, hugging the Director straight after.
Thank you for all of your questions and thanks to Barry and Emerald for dropping by for a chat! You can read the full Q&A here
Elsewhere this week, it looked like Rob was in a spot of bother as a whistleblower linked him to the blocked culverts on the Berrow Farm estate...
Rob is in it up to his neck! Hope he has his waders on! [Sue Pidgeon on Facebook]
But as Helen wondered - who would do such a thing? And why?
He is so self-important that he felt it was his duty to save Berrow Farm, as he alone was clever enough to see how to do it. He may even have boasted about it later - if the result hadn't been so devastating for the village. [Jean Bell on Facebook]
Here's hoping that culvert will be Robs Waterloo. [Louise Goode on Facebook]
But would this indeed be Rob's Waterloo? Or did it spell danger for other players in this story?
The trouble is that, if Stefan's information is taken any further, it will be Ed that gets the blame for spilling the beans on Rob. More woe for Grundy Jnr. [Andrew Robinson on Facebook]
Elsewhere this week Robert and Jim were on a birding mission, as were we on social...

Jim Lloyd would have given these contributions short shrift...
That's simple.. a green one, black one, sort of white one, strange beak one, ugly one, yellow one with a bib, red hatted one with bug, blue tit... [Robert Leach on Facebook
