Lilian's Best Moments at Home Farm

After Matt did a runner in early 2015, Lilian moved in with Jennifer and Brian at Home Farm. It meant she could rent out the Dower House and recover some much needed cash after Matt cleaned her out.

She quickly adapted to the comforts of Home Farm. Enjoying Jennifer’s swish kitchen and helping herself to Brian’s wine. Though there were some downsides – she admitted to have become an early riser due to tractors revving at dawn and Adam and Jeff having a daily 'who can shout loudest' competition.

Here are some of Lilian’s best moments as a Home Farm house guest.

The Botox

Lilian was left feeling fragile after Matt's disappearance and not long after settling in at Home Farm she had some work done to boost her self image. Brian’s reaction was priceless.

The Threatening Phone Call

While preparing Spiritual Home for its launch, Kate shared her woes over pinning down the decorators for the yoga studio. "Do you want me to make a threatening phone call?" asked Lilian. And with that they were booked for the next day. Aunt and niece duo celebrated by opening one of Brian’s bottles (at the time he was away with Jennifer in Venice).

The Top Up

After a year of living under the same roof as his sister-in-law, Brian was hoping she would soon be moving out. He was fed up of always coming across dirty underwear and overflowing ashtrays, not to mention all the gin and wine glasses dotted around.

But one evening over drinks he learned that Justin was moving into the Dower House and Lilian was staying on a Home Farm. As Brian tried to take in the news, Justin asked if anyone would like a top up "Oooh yes. Me, please", replied Lilian followed by one of her best cackly laughs.

The Rob Titchener Moment

While catching up on some Amside work in the Home Farm conservatory, Lilian took a call from Rob enquiring about one of her properties available to rent. Lilian couldn’t believe he was serious. Of course, she turned him down and swiftly made a trip to The Bull to celebrate.

Later, she twigged that Justin (who had just employed Rob as Estates Manager) had recommended Amside to Rob. Justin tried to justify his actions but Lilian wasn’t having any of it.

The Best (or Worst?) Moment of All!

Caught with her lover by her sister who then asked Lilian to put some clothes on so that she could properly tell her off. That's got to be the most memorable Lilian and Home Farm moment! A livid Jennifer threatened to cast her out. It took a lot of good behaviour on Lilian’s part to get back in her sister’s good books.
