Ambridge’s most mischievous

Happy Twelfth Night! Will you be making the most of this opportunity for mischief and mayhem? In Ambridge, there are some prime candidates for instigating some enjoyable anarchy.

Molly and Tilly Button

Every night is Twelfth Night as far as these sisters are concerned! They never miss an opportunity to cause a nuisance if it gives them a laugh. They’ve already got some 2017 high jinks in by telling Rob what they really think of him. But not to his face, no the Button girls are much more imaginative than that. They chose the written word, in lipstick, on Rob’s car windscreen. Nice one, ladies.

Eddie Grundy

A rogue who has grown lovable over the years, Eddie may not be Ambridge’s number one prankster but if you needed any help to stick two fingers up at established hierarchy he’d be more than willing to lend a hand. Just give him the cover of darkness and some whisky-soaked grain and he’ll show you how to assert your rights as a common man.

Kenton Archer

When it comes to the title of Lord of Misrule it’s hard to find a better contender in Ambridge than Kenton Archer. His recent ad-libbing in titular role of Mother Goose is surely enough to crown him the village’s top mischief-maker. And what's more, he has got form - read more about Kenton's wild times.

In 2012, Kenton was actually made the Lord of Misrule when Lynda put on An Elizabethan Christmas over the festive holidays.

Making fun of The Archers

And while we’re on the subject of mischief, when misrule is wrought on The Archers there's always a chance for a good laugh. Two favourites are John Finnemore’s take on Ambridge life and Victoria Wood’s mini-series for Comic Relief.
