Who would cause the greatest stir if they got back together?

It's likely that Ambridge has a higher rate of infidelity than the national average. We even have a page dedicated to affairs!

While affairs don't always end relationships, it follows that Ambridge also has a burgeoning number of partnerships that are now history. So, what would happen if any one of these were rekindled? And more importantly, which would be the most exciting? A few ideas spring to mind.

Kate and Roy

They definitely shared a 'moment' by the fire-pit at the launch of Kate's new venture Spiritual Home when they toasted their daughter Phoebe who is now 18 years old.

Jolene and Wayne

The relationship of this duo of Country & Western musicians was already rocky before their daughter Fallon was born. They split finally when she was about four years old.

Fast-forward to today and Wayne is now employed by Jolene and her husband Kenton as the chef at The Bull. He's worked wonders with their menus but Kenton is reluctant to make him permanent, well aware that he's Jolene's ex. In attempt to ease Kenton's anxieties, Jolene has conspired with Wayne to invent him a new girlfriend called Beverley. However, Kenton's curiosity has at times got the better of Jolene and when he asked what her surname was Jolene said it was Drains! 

Elizabeth and Robin Fairbrother

Robin Fairbrother (the father of Rex and Toby) is a blast from the past for Elizabeth. She met him when she was 20 and he was in his mid-30s. Then, he was working as a wine importer living on the other side of Felpersham to Ambridge. What Elizabeth didn't know was that Robin was married. She eventually found out from Nelson Gabriel and was heartbroken. Now, almost 30 years on what the two of them make of each other? 

Adam and Charlie

While technically not a couple, when Charlie left for Perthshire at the start of this year it definitely felt like there was unfinished business between the two of them, whatever Adam said otherwise. If Charlie came back would Adam change his mind about staying with Ian? And come to think of it Charlie could be a useful person to have around as Helen's trial draws nearer. Surely anything he has on Rob has got to help?
