What a nightmare for Heather to suddenly find they've transported a whole farm plus (if they have their way) a rival MiL to be near her when she thought she was safe from all that moaning and smothering. Selling Brookfield now because the road might go through it or that they will be needed to look after Heather indefinitely are not sound bases to sell a farm worth £4 or £5m so quickly. Any way I wonder whether it is that easy to start farming again in a part of the country where the conditions could be very different. My guess is that it's just not simply like moving house.
