With Apple Day approaching, Eddie had plans to recycle the doomed inhabitants of Elf World as prizes for ‘Pin the maggot on the apple’ and other games.
But Neil spoke for a nation (or at least for Ambridge Parish Council) when he rejected any such notion, pointing out that many of the plasterwork figures were broken.
