Sid Perks remembered

As people in Ambridge fondly remember Sid Perks (except, perhaps, for Adam and Ian), we thought you might like to refresh your memory of this Ambridge stalwart.
Here's his life story, from his days as a young tearaway to late-flowering romantic.
