The morning after...

Our hard-working team in Texas are having a well-earned rest after what seems to have been a thronged BBC Introducing showcase last night. Full of promise and sweaty energy, it will no doubt have the MySpaces of Florence & The Machine, MGMT and I Was A Cub Scout overflowing with new friend requests in the next few days.

Before a note had even been played at Rio Vic Galloway had found time to record his BBC Introducing show and catch up with Frightened Rabbit and Sons & Daughters.
Bethan Elfyn has also been a busy girl. She’s made her way in from the ranch to catch a glimpse of kiwis Die! Die! Die! and Nintendo lovers the Octopus Project, while Chicago’s Mah Jongg also received the Elfyn seal of approval.
Across The Line’s Rigsy on the other hand has been eating free ice cream and watching The Answer and Foy Vance.
If all this speak of showcases, band buzz and free ice cream has left you hungry for more, you could do a lot worse that stopping off at The Morning News, where Paul Ford has completed a highly entertaining list of six-word artist reviews, where Joe Lean & The Jing Jang Jong are “Not as bad as their name” and Kevin Shields sounds “Like a dog f*%$ing a blender.”
