Week Ten: Routine Reveal

We’re heading into Week Ten, and our six remaining couples are going to be delivering some serious dance floor action on Saturday night. There's everything from an Argentine Tango to a Cha Cha to a Rumba to enjoy, so get ready for an unforgettable night!

    Bettyboop this blog is for everyone but the fun fair-minded passionate posters are why I love it. If we vote with our feet then all the grandness will be gone an the more acerbic the only ones left. Pls rethink cos I bet you will read it so we would love your input. Just imagine if Layton decided not to take part cos of the unkind stuff? He should embrace who he is, what he can do an his opportunity. I'd not let the naysayers an the grumpy win ( I'm a determined bloke) 😘

      Has there been a lot of "unkind stuff" on here Milano?.........Have seen a lot of references to the fact that he has been a professional dancer for years and should never have been invited........I think the BBC went TOO FAR this time and thats what a lot of posters are saying.

    Now I've heard Bobby & Dianne talking on ITT about their CC I'm definitely interested to see how it turns out & I'm hoping it will be something special.
    What a lovely comment from Bobby regarding the DO being a humbling experience, he seems a sensitive & mature young man with a great attitude.

    Most looking forward to Annabel and Johannes paso and really hope that Nigel can crack the rumba. It's a really tough one for him at this point in the competition.

    Once again I’ve read that someone is leaving the blog. Please this is getting ridiculous now, people are as different as day and night and will have a mirage of different opinions which they are perfectly entitled to. Some are at times expressed in a way I’m not always comfortable with so, I scroll on by, not everything is a personal insult. Converse with those posters you get on with and ignore those you don’t. I hear much worse comments EVERY day in my day job. We need less drama and more dancing on this blog.

    Dying to see what Nikita's done with the choreography for their American Smooth - he's really surpassed himself this series, and so nice to see him getting a chance to shine in his own right, as well as in his partnership with Layton. I guess he'll concentrate on the changes of mood within the song and I just hope the singer's up to what I think will be a stunning performance.

    Morning all, I'm so sad to catch up on last night's posts & read that another of our valued regular posters feels unable to continue. Vivienne, I completely understand your point of view: my nephew & my partner's nephew are both gay. It is extremely difficult to hear/read vile, intolerant & abusive comments knowing they are directed at those we love & others like them.
    Thankfully, most who contribute here do not see this as a platform to air these views - indeed it is against the guidelines to do so.
    Please, please let us come together in our love & enjoyment of SCD making that the focus of our comments so that our Strictly experience isn't just Saturday night but through the week on here.

    Good morning all. I have read back through the posts & am sad to see some of the comments. Life is a challenge for many & Strictly, this blog and the 'regulars' are often a happy distraction for a while.
    I wish those leaving all the very best, intolerance & hatred have no place here.
    This will be my last post this year as I am off to see my grandchildren Down Under, for only the 2nd time in 3 years!
    I hope you all enjoy the rest of Strictly and your faves do well. It's getting harder each week to see someone leave.
    I would like to have added a few tap dancing steps to the SLOBS routine but maybe next year. Happy Christmas wishes to you all! 🎄💝

    I’m new to commenting on the blog this year and I must say I’m really enjoying it. I regularly contribute to other sites but this one is definitely the most dramatic forum. People saying they’re not watching Strictly again, or they get too many down arrows so refusing to post or they are leaving for some other reason. I’ve honestly never seen a blog like this one.
    I thought this was SUPPOSED to be a bit of light hearted banter to help us through the long winter nights, not a life or death, fall on your sword type of forum. Maybe I just don’t take Strictly serious enough, but then again I have real life or death problems in my life.

    Ahh Bobby on ITT saying he wishes he was as cool as Mick Jagger, he is lovely and said being in the bottom two was a lesson in humility for him. What an attitude. Bobby choose the song for his CC and the theme sounds emotional, I’m in tears already.

    This woman’s work is a beautiful song. The original and the remake. This will be a poignant moment for Bobby and i take my hat off to him as I did Annabelle for sharing their personal moments with the audience.
    I shall look forward to him and Dianne dancing and telling a beautiful story.

    Enough of being on here though and reading comments which remind me of the violence and bullying people I love have suffered as a result of what some people choose to call a ‘difference of opinion’.

    Not what I need having witnessed their hurt and supported them in being who they are. Just as Layton says his mum has supported him.

    What another wonderful masterclass from Shirley + Neil. They made it look so easy..
    They do dance well together and it is great to see Neil in this different way.

    Thanks for those who have posted nice words regarding my last post, and thanks for those offering advice, opinions etc

    For clarity, I am not, as suggested, invested in someone I don't know, I'm actually invested in tolerance.

    I appreciate that is my problem and my obvious lack of resilience reinforces my decision.

    I shall, as also suggested, focus on my family issues, a 24 hour caring role a pleasure not an issue, and enjoy watching strictly from my armchair

    I hope Annabel and Angela surprise us all by joining Ellie in the final. Enjoy the last few weeks.
