Who's going to thrive in Week Five?

We're five weeks into the competition and the standard is already so high!

Our couples are ready to perform some incredible routines in the hopes of securing their place in Halloween Week. We've got a range of performances including a Samba to Calm Down by Rema ft. Selena Gomez, a Viennese Waltz to Golden Hour by JVKE and a Foxtrot to I Just Want To Make Love To You by Etta James.

Unfortunately, due to medical reasons, Amanda Abbington and Giovanni Pernice will not be taking part in the live show this weekend. We wish Amanda a speedy recovery!

At the end of tonight's show, Claudia will give you the go-ahead to place your votes, and it'll be down to you to decide who will dance again. All the voting info you need can be found right here and head over to the homepage to save your favourites.

    I am enjoying Annabel + Johannes, though I know that I am in a big minority....
    She is doing well, embracing the challenge, and has the right attitude which Johannes is focusing on.
    Their Charleston could do well tonight...

    By Anton's own words it was nearly perfect then gave Layton a perfect score

    I always love a contestant who is visibly enjoying themselves and Krishnan is certainly that.

    I am still waiting to see Layton do a dance that is not a show dance. There was brilliant coordination between them but occasionally, he seemed to be waiting for the next bit to start. I want to see something that isn’t flamboyant and overtly West End musical.

      Really felt sorry for Annabel who tried so hard and danced an intricate and entertaining routine - and nailed it, but wasn’t given due credit for it. I thought she performed better than Krishnan and Zara for instance, but these two were judged more favourably.

    I don’t know what the judge’s were watching but I saw no resemblance to a salsa in layton dance overmarked as usual

      There is a style of Cuban salsa which is much less traditional than what we normally see and this was of that ilk. I enjoyed it but don’t think it should have been marked higher than Ellie’s Paso, which was fantastic.

    Lauren and Krishnan = JOY. For a total non dancer he is just great, his love of dance is infectious and I could watch Lauren dance all night.

    Fed up with Layton just winning. It ruins the whole thing for me as he so obviously can dance Latin and has only done 1/5 proper Latin dances during his time here. His dance was as good as Ellie’s and I don’t know why she wasn’t bumped up. I mean, how can you compare Layton to Krishnan or Angela R? I would be distraught if he won.

    Couldn’t agree more with the majority of comments. Layton is a professional dancer, it is not a level playing field.

    Layton not for me, Ellie and a few others much better dancers and have had no dance experience.

      Totally agree - the judges seem to be pushing Layton down our throats - and Angela R too! That’s why I’m not voting for either. Prefer to give my votes to those with no dance experience and who are improving each week - like Krishnan or Annabel.
