The BBC Environment Project heard recently that the BBC have been successful in being awarded the Carbon Trust Standard, recognising our efforts to measure, manage and reduce the BBC's carbon footprint. This also means that the BBC will be positioned in the top half of the Carbon Reduction Commitment league table - which has both financial and reputational benefits.

This is a very positive achievement and means a great job well done from Workplace, Procurement and Outreach to get us here.
