I'm floating in a beam of light with you

Oh hey. We had a Drivetime outing last night, Bobbie’s birthday and everything. Nice food, great company and home by 10.30pm! That is how rocknroll we are these days. It’s nice to have time for a cup of tea before the smoking jacket and slippers arrives don’t you find?

And is that a dawn chorus I can hear? We may be being lured into a thinking it’s spring before the howling easterlies swirl back in but let’s enjoy the MILD while it’s here. Thermostats down for a while…

2 shows today with the movie show double-guesting (not a word, don’t do that again) with Keanu Reeves talking John Wick 2 and Barry Jenkins the director of Moonlight. 2 numbers for you 142 and 8. 142 is the death count in John Wick 2, 8 is the Oscar nomination count for Moonlight. Enough said.

Then we ARF and lets try 1982 for openers. Michael Fagan broke into Buckingham Palace and spent 10 minutes chatting to the Queen before he was apprehended. Mark Thatcher got lost on the Paris-Dakar rally and Richard Attenborough’s Ghandi was released (8 Oscars to come). And on the radio? What fab 80’s grooves might you fancy?
