Let your colours burst

Radiators working well, and already praying for the health of the boiler. Looks like a cold winter is quite possible as, you may know this already, the polar vortex is weak. Cant you just sense it? This is allowing arctic winds to drift our way and chunky knit jumpers may well become compulsory by December. Non-hat wearers may well have to give in and accept that its worth looking a plonker to avoid brain-freeze. Just don't laugh too much. The small-headed like me will just have grin and bear it.

Foodie Thursday is with you again with top chef Nigel back from his hols in Kerala. Will he be inspired with new flavours and ideas? Did he embrace the local culture and traditions? Most importantly, did he bring us presents? Anyway he's promising pheasant polpettine with roasted squash and pomegranate molasses. This is posh meat balls ladies and gents so get with the flavours.

And this is as close as we get to Firework Night with the Oldies so FIREWORKS AND FIREWORK DISPLAYS will be just the ticket.

Blog comments will be available here in future. Find out more.
