Hey. Monday morning, de-caff time. Life is exciting and stimulating enough without putting electrodes across my heart thank you very much. In the words of the Walker Brothers, just making it easy on myself. Hope the weekend was a good one! With the help of an imminent deadline, I spent almost all of it writing, including a 7-7 stint yesterday. This is hardcore I think and not to be repeated too often but quite fun in its own, obsessive way. A word count of 106,000 isn't bad if you weigh them by the pound The deadline may still whoosh by however-there are fabulous shows to prepare!!
Your Drivetime tonight features all the usual loveliness plus added Giles Coren. The columnist and restaurant critic is hosting Further Back In Time For Dinner which started on BBC2 last week. It takes a family back to the turn of the 20th century to discover how the transformation of food has impacted on all of us. Food, history and jokes isn't bad really. Giles after 6 and BACK IN TIME oldies as an easy hit for your Monday activities
