A sunny Friday here, buds budding, grass growing and hay fever-sensitive noses a-twitching. A hint of warmth is a wonderful thing and we are grateful. Today (for complicated studio booking reasons) the movie show is coming from my old stomping ground of the Millbank studios in Westminster. And from midday which is a usual Cheltenham Festival ritual. So my amble in the sun up to Radio 2 will be a gentle one, maybe even calling in somewhere pleasing for luncheon. A tough day beckons...
And we'll 1976 a go for the ARFO. It's the Cod War, John Curry skating for gold and the Sex Pistols on Bill Grundy's TV show.Queen, Quo and Demis Roussos were bestsellers but which nugget would you choose to start off the whole shebang? Answers please!
