Head Still Up

Off on my travels again, this time to Stourbridge and to one of the few state boarding schools in the UK. I am intrigued already. I'm talking to the sixth formers about careers in the media(!) and then to the younger ones about I*** and related matters. There are no old school ghosts for me this time, which is just as well. Too much introspection and reminiscence drives me mad.
Enjoyed Dan Brown, a thoroughly likeable chap. Hoping I absorbed some of his best-selling magic by osmosis. I had a copy of I*** with me incase he asked for an update but sadly the moment never arose. Maybe I should have left with one of his bodyguards (he had 2!) though they weren't the smily types. Probably more Harlen Coben readers.
So today we have The Zombies, Colin Bluntstone and Rod Argent, now in their 52 year of being professional musicians! They famously split up, not knowing they had made a future classic album; their 1968 LP 'Odyssey and Oracle' is ranked 80 in Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. They have a new UK tour and a live album too, hear them after 6.
And at the risk of spending the whole week underground, any bloggers got some ZOMBIE type oldies? Thanks in advance.
Have an edifying and uplifting Wednesday, see you after 5
